Almond skinned, dark tressed... a lean athletic build... so much like her mother... Large, dark-lashed, sparkling blue eyes too distinctive and unique to miss. They stand out in a crowd... and in every family portrait. As bold as she, they proclaim her dual heritage. The rock 'n roller of the royal family... Conceived by all things that make up a good celebration, she's a lover of music and dance, bright lights, singing, good food and sweet wine... Born of forbidden love, she relishes life and makes the most of every day, forever prey to the siren's call of adventure. Eager to see what the next turn brings... always ready to take it to the extreme. She's an adrenalin junkie who speeds through life, head held high above strife... She'll try her hand at anything... leap out an airplane to ski on air and never even need a dare... |

| Still don't know where I'm going from here... I'm still thinking it'll all sink into stats. But the fun of a game is having your character evolve. I've thought about getting her some sort of pet (other than her little parrots that get left at home), but she needs one that can keep up and not get lost... That's going to be a challenge. Jubilee has proven quick on action and a little short on thinking....
One thing that holds true from the start, is that I can still (mostly) share as we go. Her thoughts and her feelings may be extremely private, but her actions usually scream louder and clearer than any words. |

| Friends who don't game look at me in confusion over the whole 'gaming' thing. Especially the character creation part. "Where do they come from?" "How do you decide ..x y z..?" I've met a few gamers who didn't seem to have answers to those questions either....
Like Venus from the sea, my characters are just born. I get a little seed of an idea and like Jack's bean stalk it just shoots up of its own accord into a living, breathing, character. I know it's different for others and it's always fun to talk about the characters and our ideas. The back and forth between gamers and GM is a great way to define a character, round 'em out and give them extra depth. A lot of times it's in idle conversation that you get the best view into the gamer's head on exactly who their character is... or who they'd like them to be. So, because it might be of interest, I've tacked on several (sometimes long) conversations on the newest member of my character folio and the game that spawned her. It's a bit like watching home movies, but if you're one of the gang helping Mak test the waters for EGB, or you plan on braving Darrehbarr next year at the Con, then it's a pretty good introduction to the EGB world. |
